Jonway EV at EICMA 2024: Showcasing New Concept Model
Tiny off-road e4W (Trousse) that can travel for over 200 km on a 20 kWh battery
Milan, Italy - November 20, 2024 - The 2024 Milan International Motorcycle Show (EICMA) is renowned for introducing exciting innovations to global motorcycle enthusiasts. This year, Jonway EV made a strong impression by showcasing its electric light truck, the IONA XS, and unveiling the concept model Trousse, a versatile vehicle designed for UTV enthusiasts.
The Trousse concept, classified within the L-category, focuses on last-mile delivery in rural areas with difficult road conditions. While production plans are yet to be finalized, the vehicle aims to deliver a driving range of up to 200 km per charge with a top speed of 70 km/h.
Two battery pack options will be offered, including a 10 kWh option, providing a lighter, more cost-effective solution with a range of 100+ km, featuring all-terrain tires and increased ground clearance.
Mr. Shelton, Sales Executive at Jonway EV, remarked on the evolving landscape of the exhibition: "Although this is a two-wheeler exhibition, traditionally dominated by motorcycles, it was evident that the proportion of electric vehicles was notably high, along with the presence of battery manufacturers."
