Milan, Italy - October 15, 2023 - Jonway Group showcased its diverse range of motorcycles, electric scooters, and commercial light vehicles at the International Exhibition of Two Wheelers (EICMA) in Milan.
As the highlight of the event, Jonway EV proudly presented its upgraded IONA XS electric light commercial truck model, which recently secured the EU WVTA vehicle certification for L7e. This certification reflects Jonway EV's talented team's tireless dedication to product improvement and EV technology upgrades.
In addition to the IONA XS, Jonway EV introduced its electric commercial 3-wheeler, the E3X1, which garnered notable attention from local SMEs involved in last-mile delivery. With a driving range of 80 km per day, a robust payload capacity of up to 200 kg, and a top speed of 45 km/h, the E3X1 will reduce running costs for MSEs by half of what they currently spend while driving cleaner.
With the EU vehicle certification in hand, Jonway is poised to accelerate its international expansion with partners. Having made significant progress in the domestic vehicle market, this certification marks a pivotal milestone for Jonway's global presence.
Important discussions with multiple overseas partners have been established, laying the groundwork for global expansion. Jonway EV is working to accelerate the development of the international last-mile delivery sector.
